Job Description & Requirements

· Manage the entire product line lifecycle, from strategic planning, Support product positioning and customer demand, and oversee product development

· Experience in Financial Risk, Market Risk, leading a high-performance team and large-scale high-impact projects on Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, Risk Analytics for risk analysis, monitoring, and reporting.

· Maintained daily market risk for Global Fixed Incomes Credit, Equity Derivatives and Prime Services; enhanced daily market risk reports and regulatory reports by using Excel, VBA, Tableau and Python

· Hands on experince of Capital Markets products (e.g., Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Futures, Swaps), Market Risk methodologies and regulations (e.g., Value-at-Risk, Stress Testing, Back Testing, Basel II, FRTB)

· Proficient at Excel Macro, SQL, Python, MATLAB, STATA, Tableau, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PowerPoint, Unix Bash

· Oversee the projects by collaborating with IT and Data team and enhanced operation process by conducting reconciliations and automating procedures using Python & Unix Bash script to deliver timely risk reporting.

· Taking care of financial models, pricing derivatives, automating reports, and building trusting relationships with stakeholders including Traders, Risk, IT, Compliance & Audit

· Should have thorough knowledge in Swift fields and Formatting.

· Responsible for end-to-end implementation SWIFT (AMH)

Job Description:

• Engage with companies and agencies to understand their businesses, product/service offerings & technology needs.
• Foster R&D collaboration between companies/agencies with researchers/research units in A*STAR SRTT, to drive impactful outcomes.
• Proliferate IP portfolio of A*STAR SRTT through technology productization, licensing or formation of new spin off.
• Work closely with industries and agencies to market the portfolio and research capabilities through collaboration and facilitate the technology transfer as needed.
• Work closely with scientists and principal investigators in determining the scope of projects, costing estimation, agreement drafting, and negotiation with industries and agencies.
• Provide management reporting support, market intelligence and facts gathering to facilitate decision-making and occasionally convinces others where strong interests exists to adopt new concepts and approaches.
• Analyse problems and ensure compliance to A*STAR practices and policies.
• Drive or support the development and execution of industry strategy for key R&D programmes under SRTT.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for team's action and decision.

Requirements:

• Master in Physical Sciences or equivalent.
• 5 years of industry/agency experience, with 3-5 years in a business development and/or technical strategic planning and execution role.
• Candidates with experience and knowledge in advanced scientific concepts and cutting-edge technologies, preferably in advanced computing, high performance computing, quantum , semicon/electronics, will have an advantage.
• Experience in project management in an R&D, Technology and/or Operations environment, interfacing with private and public sector agencies would be a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Pro-active, quality conscious, and results-oriented.
