What a Pre-Sales Senior Manager does at Visa:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Pre-sales (VGS) in the Asia Pacific region that is a self-starter, hands-on, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role is client-facing and focuses on the pre-sales, solution design and technical development phases of an opportunity by supporting our regional frontline sales functions. The Solution Architects works directly with the public sector, issuing/acquiring clients as well as partners/ enablers to evaluate pain points in the iterative design thinking process and helps define the value proposition for both Visa and the client.

A key driver of success will be the ability to focus on the highest leverage activities in the face of rapid change and new information, and the ability to independently drive activities all the way to successful launches of propositions. Primary Purpose:

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring Safety of the vessel and her crew always remains of the highest priority.
• Oversee and manage entire technical requirements and operation of Offshore vessels such as DP2, DP3 Subsea Dive Support (DSV), PSV, AHTS, and other assets.
• Responsible and accountable for the performance of the technical and purchase personnel under your responsibility including but not limited to providing them with direction, performance management and any skill upgradation in line with company’s requirements and policy.
• Monitoring technical costs of managed vessels and ensuring follow-up of cost control with vessel Master and Chief Engineer.
• Project Management, Plan, manage, monitor, and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings, and conversions within agreed budgets.
• PIC for any client’s surveys, inspections including OVID, MWS, and coordinate with relevant departments to close out the findings in the punch list before mobilization.

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Estimate project resources, identify project dependencies, plan and schedule project timelines / milestones to develop full-scale project plan.
• Project manage the full ‘life cycle’ of the implementation from scoping to testing.
• Management of a project team members “from business and IT" as well as external partners such as software vendors.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals and system specifications documentation, and presentations to the Project Steering Committee.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from various project streams, track project activities, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Contribute to the setup of the capability-based project management (methodology, templates, best practices).

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in Capital Market with Project Management expertise (minimum of 3 years in similar areas).
• Experience in driving the implementation of Treasury/Capital Markets software (preferred) or complex banking software.
• Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.
• Proven ability to lead large/complex cross-functional teams and drive results through task coordination, handoffs and overall delivery of solution.
• Experience in leading large projects with formal management techniques (Work plans, status reporting, issue and risk management etc.).
• Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus. Experienced negotiator and skilled in conflict resolution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels in the organization, including senior management.
• Strong decision-making and analysis skills.
