Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Malaysia SCM function
• Ensure all Malaysia SCM operations are executed in full compliance with the company SMS, SCM rules and Group system, policies and procedures
• Ensure all Malaysia SCM operations are executed in full compliance with the laws and regulations within the countries that we operate as well as requirements of the charters
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase ship spare parts, stores, equipment and technical repair services with local and global suppliers
• Ensure that all purchases made through the purchasing department are properly authorised and conforms to quality specifications and standards
• Prepare PO in SAP, follow-up with suppliers for prompt delivery and quality products
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive information on all purchases made and ensure that all purchasing records are updated and filed accordingly
• Prepare monthly purchasing report and update weekly order status
• Liaise with Freight Forwarder for shipments arrangement to vessel or warehouse
• Ensure Delivery order and submitted Good Receipt are processed in a timely manner
• Any other duties related to purchasing as assigned by SCM Manager and Management

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree Holder in Supply Chain Management discipline or Diploma/Degree in Business Administration discipline.
• Must have 1 – 3 years of purchasing & negotiation experience is an added advantage
• Well versed in MS Office, familiar with SAP (MM Module) is preferred
• Possess effective planning and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Able to handle routine tasks and follow procedure to keep documentation consistent
• Willing to work at Miri, Malaysia
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Development of technical specifications for HV/MV/LV electrical equipment in compliance with international standards and project specifications for onshore and offshore process modules.

• Perform technical bid evaluation of vendor technical offers, manage vendor deviations, make technical negotiations and align with project requirements for electrical equipment including but not limited to motor, generator, transformer, distribution board, variable frequency drive, soft starter, heat tracing, power cable and accessory systems.
• Make design calculations not limited to fault level, lighting design, cable sizing, heat tracing, and equipment sizing calculations for battery/battery charger/MCC.
• Generate electrical bulk MTO for the modules under battery limits.
• Coordinate with 3D/2D designers to make cable tray layout, electrical equipment layout, integration documents, interconnection diagram, single line, schemes as per project requirement.
• Perform technical review of the layouts, drawings and documents prepared by designers and drafters.
• Review and develop technical deviations for project specifications, coordination with customer.
• Prepare material requisition and make purchase request for procurement per project requirement.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary engineers, ensuring timely engineering inputs and manage dependencies, deliver documentation per schedule.

Position is based in Batam, Indonesia. Candidate should have the relevant certifications in CompEx, ETAP etc.
