As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will report directly to the Design Manager and play a critical role in managing and executing BIM processes for ACMV/HVAC systems. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing accurate 3D models, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and collaborating across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration and coordination of the models. Your expertise will also be pivotal in quality control, design processes, and continuous improvement of BIM standards within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modelling and Management

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for ACMV/HVAC systems in construction projects, including components such as air handling units, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment.
• Update models to incorporate design changes and engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other BIM engineers from various disciplines (structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing) to integrate all models and ensure compatibility.

As a Central PIE Yield Engineer / Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing leadership to the global Micron network to drive yield, product quality improvement, new product introduction (NPI) through technical expertise, business process management and project execution.

This role needs to centralize the project information, including achievements, design requirements and testing difficulties from multiple departments located in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, US; and drive the project to meet specs within defined tight schedule.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Promote worldwide alignment for improved benchmark performance and efficiency gains through global project management and execution, network BKM leveraging and enhancement, and business process creation and re-engineering.
• Drives yield breakthroughs by understanding the comprehensive test flow across steps, testing conditions, product design/operation and propose an effective solution for yield versus reliability requirements.
• Foster innovation to solve yield issues with the help of generating ideas from characterizing the device fail-modes using the deeper expertise in device architecture, physics, and available testing knobs.
• Lead a multi-functional team to build frontiers in the areas of yield improvement by demonstrating the knowledge of test flow, device, bench characterization, fab process and technologies.
• Strong collaboration with Product, Test, Quality and Fab Engineering to develop best in class process, BKMs and work towards alignment across fabs, tech-nodes and technologies to achieve benchmark yield performance.
• Maintain and improve knowledge and technical expertise, explore innovation opportunities with critical thinking and detailed approach.
• Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and managers in other functional areas within central team and outside in areas such as Fab, Technology and Development, Product, Test and Quality Engineering.
• Communicate and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate ability to give effective presentations to both small and large groups on project updates and new initiative proposals.
• Periodically follow up with manager to ensure all type of goals are met and get assistance to remove obstacles.
• Travel to Micron Fab locations as necessary for face-to-face work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Masters / PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related field of study.
• Knowledge in Semiconductor Device Physics, DRAM/NAND/Logic product operations, parametric/electrical test, and probe yield.
• Experience in Product, Test, Yield, Design Engineering will be added advantage.
• Experience on DRAM High Bandwidth Memory will be a plus to this job position.
• Good data analysis, debugging, problem solving, reporting and presentation skills.

Maximizes yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Troubleshoots wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Evaluates products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conducts research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommends process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.

Delivery and Performance:

• Assist with the production of budget estimates for project deliverables;
• Support the development of work plans and budgets for all activities in the project;
• Assist with and participate in internal and external reviews;
• Provide quality assurance support;
• Support the maintenance of all works efforts, to ensure they are delivered on time, to cost and quality standards;

Method & Technical:

• Develop and implement construction methodologies and techniques specific to post-tensioning, Launching Gantry and Lifting Frame.
• Collaborate with clients to analyse project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions in real-time.

Cost Control:

• Monitor project expenses and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize material and equipment purchases.

Project Control

• Track project execution by ensuring timely and adequate reporting;
• Monitor all project activities in relation to the respective project work plans and take corrective action, when necessary, to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of project outputs;
• Monitor project progress, identify improvement opportunities, assist with the revision of work plans and advice the project director of possible adjustments to meet the project objectives;
• Monitor contract obligations, develop management systems and accountabilities to ensure all contract obligations are tracked and met, including contractor and client contract obligations.

Safety and sustainability

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices;
• Assess inspections to ensure compliance with organisational health and safety policies, processes and procedures;
• Assess records of accidents and incidents against WSH policies and practices;
• Apply organisational environmental sustainability and green building standards and guidelines;

Qualifications and Experience Education

• University Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or other relevant discipline.

Languages

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Work Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project development.
• Experience in Bridge Project with erection works using specific Equipment (Launching Gantry, Lifting Frame) and Post-Tensioning system works.

Additional Requirements:

• Competent in the use of all commonly used computer software – outlook, Microsoft, Teams.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and deliver assignments on time.

Job Description

• Oversee all the new construction/installation of production and office expansion project and actively involved in all the design work and specification before finalisation or design freeze
• Work closely with IE and end users to define project intention and translate the intention into installed system to meet the its function and performance
• Coordinate for any new tools and utilities hook up or tools relocation activities
• Responsible for coordinating and supervising subcontractors works on site to ensure compliance to internal Safety guidelines and jobs specification
• Ensure timely completion, safety and quality standards of project works
• Prepare and update all site reports and closely monitor the progress of the project including submission of weekly report to Director
• Liaise with end user/IE to define the scope of work, work methods, technical specifications of the services
• Generate RFQ and arrange sitewalk with contractors to explain the project/hookup expectations
• Perform project cost estimation, participating in technical/engineering evaluation of all bidding packages with Purchasing
• After completion of project, responsible to ensure all payments are regularized, projects are buy-off according to procedures. Project closure documentation are obtained like O&M manual, as built drawings, T&C records, all regulatory certificate, Spare part listing and contractor/vendor listing
• Oversee the facility gas operation and maintenance, including but not limited to ad hoc job such as regulator replacement, filter replacement, etc.

• Degree in any Engineering. Degree shall be recognized by the Singapore PE Board or IES of Singapore
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience for Degree
• Possess good project management skills, e.g. able to identify critical path and well verse in Project planning

• Possess good supervision and management for Project Safety execution and Code compliance especially like working at height, hoisting & Hot Work

Job Description:

As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will report directly to the Design Manager and play a critical role in managing and executing BIM processes for ACMV/HVAC systems. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing accurate 3D models, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and collaborating across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration and coordination of the models. Your expertise will also be pivotal in quality control, design processes, and continuous improvement of BIM standards within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modelling and Management

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for ACMV/HVAC systems in construction projects, including components such as air handling units, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment.
• Update models to incorporate design changes and engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other BIM engineers from various disciplines (structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing) to integrate all models and ensure compatibility.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM environment to minimize construction issues.
• Establish and maintain project-specific BIM standards, methods, and procedures, adhering to company protocols and local Singapore BIM guidelines.
• Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models for project documentation and construction purposes.

2. Design

• Participate in the conceptualization and detailed design of ACMV/HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and best practices, including the Singapore Code of Practice (CP13), SS553, and the Fire Code.
• Prepare design documents, including system layouts, schematics, and specifications.
• While thermal load calculations and energy modeling are not yet implemented, you will be responsible for using design software and tools to perform these tasks as needed in future projects. System sizing will be carried out as part of the current design process.
• Review and approve shop drawing submittals.

3. Coordination and Communication

• Participate in design meetings, coordination workshops, and BIM coordination meetings.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the project design and execution plan are clearly understood.
• Present BIM models to project teams, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate understanding and gather feedback.

4. Quality Assurance and Control

• Ensure quality control of BIM models and design documentation, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Validate model-based project deliverables for compliance with project standards and ensure the accuracy of all information.
