The business supplies steel consumables, primarily grinding media to the Copper and Gold mineral processing sector. MolyCop’s raw material feedstock strategy incorporates a range of supply options including domestic sourcing, make own via our EAF steelmaking facilities located in Canada and importing ~800KT of bar and other traded products. The Singapore trading office is responsible for the sourcing and supply of our imported bar needs.

Role Purpose:

The role supports the Global Freight and Logistic Manager, to ensure our imported bar feedstock needs as defined through our S&OP process, are delivered in full and on-time, as well as the most cost efficient and effective freight and logistics service that leverages our volume, demand planning, mill relationships and market insights.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Assist in negotiating and securing shipment, coordinating with ship owners, brokers, and other stakeholders.
