The Windows System Engineer is a professional responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows-based infrastructure and associated technologies within an organization. Their primary role is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance and support services for day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Platforms including Cloud.
• Provide support in migrating, upgrading, configuring, and administering the Enterprise Platforms
• Unix/windows administration
• Track, troubleshoot and resolve any reported technical issues.
• Perform application deployment as per given SOP.
• Co-ordinate and work with vendors to have the issues resolved.
• Provide on-site support for all downtime for client-end, server-end and the following day standby support if required.
• Monitor, and apply patches of applications and related platform components in all environments.

• Conduct system checks after facilities or preventive maintenance related activities.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of working experience in administering Windows/Unix systems.
• Good knowledge of application deployments.
• Strong interest in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue.
• Good planning and coordination skills.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent are a plus
