The Role

Reporting to the Tax Director and working in a team, you will be responsible for regional tax compliance and advisory. The key responsibilities include managing tax structures and contractual terms from a tax perspective to manage tax risks of leasing and sale transactions, including discussions with customers and advisors. Represent the Group’s positions on minimising tax risks as directed by the Head of Tax, in discussions with external customers and suppliers. Assist in managing the Group’s external tax advisors and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely review and submission of all tax returns and timely payment of taxes in Singapore and other jurisdictions as required. Ensure accuracy of tax provisions for Group entities in Singapore and other jurisdictions as required at monthly, quarterly and semi-annual financial reporting cycles.

Prepare and maintain tax budget and forecast information for both tax provisioning and tax cash flows in cooperation with Financial Planning and Analysis team. Determine and inform the tax team and management team of tax impacts from changes to forecasts and business scenarios.

Perform month-end closing activities Maintain accurate financial records and statements
• Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system
• Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs
• Enter accurate data into the accounting system
• Use relevant Infocomm technology systems and tools effectively for data analysis
• Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management’s use
• Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system

To qualify for this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant and have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of relevant tax compliance and advisory experience in a public accounting firm and MNC within asset or infrastructure-based industry. · Assist to maintain spare parts inventory levels in warehouse, support delivery checks by suppliers, and maintain good preservation / housekeeping in the workspace.

· Added advantage with strong background as service engineer experience with marine diesel engines, turbochargers or marine equipment servicing.

Job Description

Robotic process automation (RPA) is a technology that enables users to configure software robots to emulate and integrate human interaction with digital systems to execute business processes. Software robots utilize the user interface to capture data and navigate applications just like humans do. They interpret data, trigger responses and communicate with other systems to perform a variety of repetitive, rule-based tasks.

The RPA lead will be responsible for leading a team of RPA developer for end-to-end RPA project delivery and building the RPA capability in the organisation.
