Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Research Analyst to join our Client's team. In this role, you will assist in conducting research on publicly listed companies to support investment decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical individual who is passionate about finance, capital markets, and equity research.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Collection: Collect and organize quantitative and qualitative data from various sources such as company websites, SEC filings, earnings calls, investor presentations, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
• Market Research: Conduct industry research to understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and other factors affecting investment opportunities.
• Company Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing data on publicly listed companies, including financial statements, earnings reports, and industry trends.
• Financial Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.
• Report Preparation: Assist in preparing research reports and presentations summarizing findings and providing actionable insights to senior team members.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with ad-hoc research tasks as needed, including special projects related to specific companies or sectors.
Qualifications
Passion for investing.
Education: Bachelor's degree. Finance, Economics, Accounting degrees are a plus but not required.
Skills & Knowledge:
o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis.
o Basic understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and key financial ratios.
o Familiarity with financial markets and investment concepts.
o Knowledge of financial databases is a plus but not required.

Preferred Experience
• Internship or academic experience in finance, investment research, or a related field.
• Familiarity with equity research methodologies and financial analysis tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of the global financial markets, corporate finance, and valuation techniques.
