Job Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage insolvency and restructuring engagements such as liquidation, receivership, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, special accountant, debt restructuring and bankruptcy work
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, creditors, debtors, etc. in writing as well as business meetings
• Review financial position, conduct financial analysis and develop turnaround strategies for clients in financial distress
• Participate in business development and client relationship management
• Review and ensure completeness and quality of work and compliance of all statutory and/or regulatory requirements of the engagements
• Assist the Director in practice development matters and activities
• Coach, motivate and develop junior members within the team

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification
• Able to work independently and lead in a team, manage projects and meet project deadlines
• Candidates with at least 2 to 3 years of proven and relevant insolvency experience in PAC firms will be considered for the Senior position. Candidates with more than 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
• Strong business acumen and logical thinking / analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Scope

• Responsible for accounts receivable and payable.
• ⁠Monitoring AR ageing reports and follow up on accounts receivable
• Assisting in monthly reconciliation such as bank, inventory, account payable reconciliation
• ⁠Performing quarterly GST reconciliation and submission
• Handling inter-company billing and settlements
• Handling company full-set of accounts
• ⁠Preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditor
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements.

• Able to commence immediately, no long holiday
• Minimum LCCI/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• SAP B1 knowledge preferred
