Responsibilities

· Conduct and analyse market research on commercial-defense products with AI technologies to identify market demand, growth opportunities and competitive threats

Requirements

· Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or M.S.) or certifications in Digitalisation, AI and Data Science

· Experience: 5+ years in start-ups or corporate roles in commercial business functions that focused on business model innovation, go-to-market analysis, compliance and commercialisation in the AI, telecommunications and tech sectors

· Solid understanding of market dynamics and regulatory requirements, with in-depth knowledge of compliance and certification processes relevant to the industry

· Develop and implement pricing strategies and go-to-market plans

· Proficiency with advanced networks and sensors with AI applications

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in delivering markets, business and commercialization insights and recommendations to senior management

• Survey existing approaches on evaluating and improving the quality of LLM generated code
• Evaluate the quality of LLM generated code objectively using multiple metrics, particularly regarding soundness
• Propose approaches for improving the code generation based on consistency
• Implement the proposed approach and experiment it with state-of-the-art LLMs
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and write a paper

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning

The SMU Urban Institute, launched in early 2024, is a university-level research institute dedicated to advancing an interdisciplinary research agenda. Leveraging SMU's strategic position as a dynamic management university in Singapore's city centre, the Institute aims to make a meaningful impact through the study of Asian cities. Work under supervision of PI (Principal Investigator) to create and operate a large-scale taxi/ride-hailing simulator in Singapore setting. The major responsibilities are:

• Refit an existing large-scale taxi/ride-hailing simulator using latest street topology.
• Process large datasets from LTA and Gojek to prepare for simulation calibration.
• Design an automated process to calibrate the simulation model, so that it is consistent with real-world data.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related computing focused discipline is required.
• Previous research experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent coding ability and experience in Python or Java is essential.
