Reporting to the Director, Intelligence Automation & Hyperautomation within our Chief Technology Office, this position is responsible for integrating AI models into production systems to ensure seamless operation for our company. Key Responsibilities:

· Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices in software engineering.

· Working with DevSecOps tools for deploying and versioning code.

· Conduct thorough research and analysis of retrieval techniques, language models, and generative AI methodologies.

· Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and accuracy.

· Continuously iterate and refine retrieval augmented generation (RAG) methods and processes based on experimentation, analysis, and feedback. This will include embedding, chunking, loading, and search algorithm setup.

· Experiment with different retrieval strategies, including information retrieval, nearest-neighbor searches, or knowledge graph-based retrievals, to augment generative AI models.

· Algorithm Optimization - Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.

· Present findings and insights to stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.

· Document AI models, algorithms, and processes thoroughly.

· Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate results and methodologies.

· Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies with the team to execute on prioritized projects and features.

· Implement automated testing and monitoring techniques to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.

Education:

· Candidates are evaluated case-by-case but appreciate qualifications in quantitative, scientific and technology disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Physics, and Bioinformatics.

Requirements:

· 4+ years of experience in AI Engineering.

· Strong programming skills in Python.

· Experienced in building scalable AI Solutions within a modern technology stack which includes cloud services, data pipelines, database, and other necessary tooling.

· Experienced with CI/CD and test-driven development

· Experience in building Restful APIs for AI models.

· Experience in designing scalable AI Solutions

· Solid understanding of machine learning concepts (i.e. neural networks, optimization algorithms, evaluation metrics).

· Familiar with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques

· Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, such as instruction design, template-based approaches, rule-based conditioning, or fine-tuning strategies.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

· Experience working in an Agile Methodology.

· Additional programing languages such as Node.js / TypeScript, C#, or Java

· Demonstrated experience in developing and refining prompts for generative AI models, preferably in creative or text generation domains.

· Experience with AWS Cloud.

· Experience with building, deploying, and managing docker images.

You will be responsible for the radiation safety for department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine as well as contribute to the Radiation Response Team, Radiation Safety Officer and part of the Radiation Safety Committee. You will also be responsible for the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) program for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmacy laboratory, radiation safety and waste policies as well as radiation audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of department’s QA Program including the daily Quality Control checks
• Work with Biomedical Engineering to oversee the maintenance of all imaging equipment
• Use various QA test tools to ascertain equipment fault as first line check
• Assist in the dose management of staff for radiation safety
• Investigate reports from NEA when required
• Training of new staff on the safe and proper use of radiation protection devices
• Conduct courses with lectures on radiation physics and radiation protection for trainee radiologists and other healthcare workers
• Manage and advise on the annual test reports of the radiation protection apparel to ensure all lead aprons are duly checked
• Calculate and provide information on the estimated absorbed dose and dose equivalence of patients undergoing radiological examination
• Conduct investigation as and when required
• Provide information and explanation to any queries with regards to the risk of radiation
• Provide wide scientific support in radiation and medical physics
• Participate in scientific research

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) Healthcare Science (Radiation Physics) or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in medical radiation services
• Sound knowledge of Physics with critical thinking, analytical and good problem-solving skills
