We are seeking an individual with Building Management Systems technical experience for the position of BMS Project Manager at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will work directly with the Senior Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager and the subcontractors throughout the six-year design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Senior Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents. • Liaise with Procurement team to issue tender documents to contractors and suppliers/vendors and evaluate tender submissions
• Review existing district and retail cooling plants’ operations and provide improvement suggestions/plans with a data driven approach
• Liaise with government agencies and IHLs on collaboration/co-development matters on new technology development in the cooling domain
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Professional qualification(s) such as Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessor (EEO Assessor) and/or BCA-registered Energy Auditor will have an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works’ design involving chiller plant systems and/or energy audits of existing projects
• Familiarity with deployment and integration of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar PV) and energy efficient technologies (e.g., energy storage systems) will have an added advantage
• Proficient in using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit
