You will be working for a reputable market-leader within the maritime insurance industry who is looking for a HR Senior Associate/HR Assistant Manager to be based in Singapore covering APAC countries (Hong Kong, Japan, UK and Singapore)
We're seeking an HR professional to drive regional recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives across Asia, with additional support for global teams. As the primary point of contact for new joiners, you'll craft engaging experiences that foster connection and community. Building strong relationships across departments and geographies is key to success in this role
Your new role
Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support while collaborating with senior management teams.
Oversee the administration of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. This includes:
· Maintaining up-to-date staff records and database information
· Preparing reports for performance evaluations, training monitoring, and other HR-related purposes
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, including:
· Documentation and paperwork
· Training and induction sessions
· Activating new starters, issuing new starter letters, and monitoring probation periods
· Handling maternity letters, booking new staff into induction programs, and finalizing induction processes
Develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging learning and development initiatives, including:
· Training sessions, workshops, and compliance programs
· Topical seminars on relevant subjects
· Ensuring employees complete required training by year-end
Partner with regional teams to forecast recruitment needs and drive end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including:
· Job postings and advertisements
· Candidate management and screening
· Managing the recruitment process from initial application to job offer
Provide administrative support for payroll processes in the APAC region.
What you will need to succeed
· Proven experience in HR operations related roles
· Strong IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
· Experience with ATS and HRIS systems.
· Familiarity with international HR practices and regulations (APAC region).
· Eligibility to work in Singapore with a willingness to travel to APAC offices.
