Job Description

• To act as Senior Civil Site Engineer for the construction of underground MRT Station
• Plan and Supervise ERSS and Deep Excavation works
• Supervise and ensure strict quality control
• Prepare and Review Technical Documents
• Keep record of all site activities and prepare daily site report
• Supervise any repair works
• Monitor and report progress of the works on site
• 60 hours per week working hours

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering
• Master Degree in Civil / Strutural Engineering is preferred
• Very good experience in deep excavation, Earth Retaining Stabilizing Structures (ERSS), piling works (bored piles, sheet piles, soldier piles), pile load testing (ULT and PDA), ECM and pipe jacking works
• Relevant experience in ground improvement techniques (DCM, WSM, and JGP)
• Relevant experience in the construction of strutting works, Excavation, Secant Bored Pile, Diaphragm Wall
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the above area

As Site Reliability Engineer, you will have to operate and maintain LANDI Global infrastructures. Your main responsibilities will be to:

· Build, operate, and maintain our platform infrastructures, across various environments

· Collaborate with R&D team to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of our platforms

· Implement and configure monitoring and alerting systems for visibility and resolution procedures to ensure timely remediation of platform failures

· Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery plans to ensure business continuity

· Analyse and present performance and cost optimization for the platforms

· Design and implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery frameworks and processes for deployment efficiency

· Manage change management and incident reporting processes to anticipate and respond to incidents to confirm with platform SLA

· Provide operational support for platforms and support resolving production issues as an escalation point to the team

· Participating in 24/7 on-call rotation

· Support deployment of environments as new clients are onboarded

EXPERIENCES

· At least 5 years or more experience in similar capacity

· Excellent oral and written communication in English.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Candidates should ideally have experience in some of the following technologies:

· Experience in various cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)

· Experience in distributed Linux/Unix operating systems

· Experience in high-level programming or scripting languages

• Supervise engineers and site supervisors and ensure they carried out the work according to plan

1. Ensure timely preparation of classes

• Prepare course documents, assessment booklets and props.

• Prepare laptop carts, room set up (furniture) according to the course.

• Prepare any special ad hoc requirements for specialised courses or corporate clients.

• Coordinate with Digital OE to ensure pre delivery tasks and classes are ready to start.

• Morning Gemba in the centre (assist trainers and trainees)

• Support coordination of late comer trainees with sales and fulfilment team.

• Handling of all offsite classes

- Prepare course materials, refreshment ordering and attendance list.

- Prepare course documents and props.

- Liaise with courier for delivering and collecting of props, courseware and course documents

2. Ensure timely closure of classes

• Perform batching at end of each class for F2F classes.

• Preparation and printing of hardcopy certificates (selected courses).

• Marking of assessment paper with OMR machine and generate assessment results.

• Upload assessment results and update scores into system.

• Scan assessor evaluations via OMR.

• Submit details of F2F classes as requested by funding agency during audits.

• Liaise with external assessment centres for test results.

• Inventory Management (stationery, props, training equipment & bulk order hardcopy books)

• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in assessment rooms, classrooms, Trainer’s room and storerooms.
