Roles & Responsibilities:

To provide logistical support (site utilisation) when needed, as requested by sub-contractors

To be the liaison for the coordination of different trades within the same discipline

Responsible for all on-site engineering issues pertaining to site matters

To coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients' queries to ensure timely work arrangements

To be involved in the day-to-day management of site supervision of construction activity to ensure site works are carried out as per schedule and the local authorities’ quality standard

To manage project documentation and maintain accurate records

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Design/Structural/Architectural/Civil Engineering/Building Construction or any equivalent qualification

Experience / Knowledge in in Bridge Construction/ Crosshead/ Lifting Frame /Launching Gantry Operation/ Pre-cast Segment Method/ MRT/ LTA will be an added advantage

More than 3 years of site experience in the construction sector, preferably in the superstructure crosshead/ precast segmental bridge and Launching Gantry operation or similar

Good team player and able to work independently

Duties and Responsibility·

· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance to QA/QC requirements

· Convey proper instructions to subcontractors to ensure all installation works are executed in accordance with approved construction drawings details

· To manage construction difficulties, safety risk and other technical issues

· Prepare installation sequence & micro schedule for respective façade elements according to construction drawings

· Coordinate with Subcontractors on all matters pertaining to site installation and quality issues

· Monitor and update daily project/site progress report

· Maintain proper records of Site Inspection Reports, materials deliveries and site activities

· Arrange & Coordinate Site Testings and Inspections with Vendors and RTO/RE

· Manage and plan site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient use of resources

· Co-ordinate site storage space with Main Contractor

· To assist Project Manager in timely submission of materials samples and mock-up for approval

· Checking of RC structures conditions against construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies if found on site

• To take charge of planning, coordinating and to complete projects with a great sense of responsibility and within the stipulated timelines;
• To determine the schedules of different phases of projects based on established deadlines;
• To monitor the work progresses and operations at site, including quality control, safety issues, etc;
• To liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and internal departments in resolving project development and technical issues;
• Supervise on project and report on daily progress regarding installation work on site;
• To ensure all rectification works and installations are attended to properly;
• Assist to identify, review and assess risk arising from the workplace;
• Ensure all machinery and equipment at site are in good working conditions and having all the necessary working certificates;
• Ensure all workers at site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times;
• Conduct daily site safety inspection and enforce compliance on prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations and other requirements;
• Assist to attend all issues related to workplace safety, health and environmental control;
• Liaise closely with site operations staff on all safety and health issues;
• To ensure all systems and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements;
• To ensure of the safe measurements on site as a duties of a Safe Management Officer;
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess of Diploma in building or Civil engineering
• Possess of WSH qualifications, Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
• Certified in Safety Management Officer (SMO).
• Possess at least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of health and safety in building construction;
• Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance;
• Possess good leadership, good communication skills, organizing abilities and independent;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Power Point.
• Driving license (Class 3) will be preferred.
