We are seeking a freelance Junior to Mid-weight Content Strategist who can fully commit from 2 December 2024 to 7 February 2025 for a two-month project focused on social media content management.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a brand custodian for a major global brand, ensuring that all content aligns with brand principles, guidelines, and tone of voice across social media channels.
• Review and validate social media assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines. 
• Conduct thorough reviews across Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X to verify that copy and content meet platform conventions and best practices. Flag and recommend necessary changes before final approval.
• Ensure all visual assets meet platform-specific dimensions, file formats, and quality standards. 
• Track and manage social media content calendars, ensuring that assets are scheduled and published according to the planned timeline.
• Support other aspects of social media channel management as needed, including community management, social monitoring, and compiling basic reporting insights.

What are we looking for?

• Candidates with backgrounds in Project Management, Content Production, or Brand Strategy are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with social media or digital agencies, brand marketing or production teams is highly valued. Ideal candidates have experience managing or optimising content across diverse social platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Proven ability to validate assets, manage content calendars, and support community management and basic reporting for digital marketing campaigns.
• A keen eye for detail with a collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impact of Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
• Collaborate in some of the workgroup’s research projects.
• Coordinate meetings and act as a liaison with SUSS and collaborators.
• Track research expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in preparing reports for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop policies and procedures for NICE.
• Assist in other secretariat duties as required.
• Manage ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics, Sociology of Work or Behavioural Psychology.
• 1-2 years of experience in research administrations within an academic research office, institute or company preferred.
• Self-starter and problem solver.
• Ability to work independently and display initiative.
• Ability of multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
• Good time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet computations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

• Assist the Planning team in strategic proposals through assigned research.
• Actively manage assigned social channels through post validation, scheduling, and updating content calendars.
• Be a brand custodian by ensuring content adheres to brand guidelines.
• Adopt best post format practices on all social channels and stay updated on the latest social channel developments.
• Provide on-ground observations and insights surrounding own community through daily community management.
• Be on the pulse with the latest trends and developments in the assigned account’s landscape, such as industry news, competitors, influencers and relevant partners.
• Identify trends and partnerships’ developments to leverage opportunities in generating social conversations (trendjacking).
• Gather and interpret channel data for monthly and ad hoc.

What are we looking for?

• Minimally relevant internship experience
• Digital and/ or social experience is a must, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Knowledge of TikTok and Twitch will be a plus.
• Working knowledge of social analytic/ listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Sysomos, or Talkwalker is preferred.
• Experience in managing social media properties, preferably tech-brand accounts.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Team player with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong social cultural curiosity and a clear understanding of current social trends and technology.

About The Role

Navigating co-parenting, parenting stress and child development in a novel Work From Home (WFH) environment: A mix-methods naturalistic on-field investigation

The BRAIN Lab, led by Dr. Atiqah Azhari, in the SUSS School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences is seeking qualified research staff to participate in a study of “Navigating co-parenting, parenting stress and child development in a novel Work From Home (WFH) environment: A mix-methods naturalistic on-field investigation”. This a mixed-method project that uses fNIRS neuroimaging technology and interviews to understand parenting and work-from-home behaviours. The project is scheduled to run for three years.

What You Will Be Doing

• To conduct neuroimaging data collection on-site in participant’s’ homes
• To conduct data processing and analyses
• To assist with scientific writing
• To assist with administrative duties

Job Requirements

Qualification / Experience Required

• A Bachelors degree in any field of sciences or social sciences
• Previous experience with neuroimaging research using fNIRS is strongly preferred
