The job
In the beginning of your employment you will be train in Singapore, where you will undergo in-house training in our products, both theoretical and practical. Here after you will be sent on service visits on vessels around the world.

Your primary tasks will be:

· Service jobs in fields of mechanics and electronics (performing installations etc.).

· Testing existing electrical projects.

· Troubleshooting and repairing internal and external.

· Customer instructions and customer service when you are on board the vessel.

· Overhaul of lubricators.

You have to be prepared on traveling approx. 130 days a year and need to be able to travel on short notice, also on public holidays, to implement service tasks on vessels which are either sailing, in port or in dock.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, calculations and analysis
• Check and review purchase specification
• Review and correct drawings
• Prepare test procedures
• Review vendor quotations and vendor drawings
• Handle contract-bidding engineering specifications and enquiry
• Monitor the progress of drawings, documents and purchase specification
• Perform quality assurance check of drawings
• Seek innovative ideas / solutions to improve current designs, work methods and procedures
• Liaise with Production Department to resolve site problems
• Liaise with Project Management Department to ensure on-time delivery of project
• Liaise with Marketing Department on engineering specifications for project bidding
• Liaise with customer, vendors and regulatory bodies on engineering design matters
• Direct and guide the activities of subordinates assigned to him
• Manage the career development and training of subordinates

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in marine / offshore industry
• Knowledge of functional and operational requirements related to design of all types of ships and offshore vessels or platforms
• In-depth knowledge and experience of his engineering field
• Well versed with regulatory and class requirements
• Possess effective communication and people skills
• Possess supervisory skill to coach and motivate staff
• Able to work in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering design software (eg Autocad or SmartMarine 3D)

The TikTok Engineering Test Team focuses on testing and delivering innovative, high-quality product features of the TikTok as well as protecting user data. Our Mission is to facilitate the release of TikTok features and enhancements from the development to production stage through effective testing, delivering quality at speed.

As a Test Engineer on our team, you will:

1. Design, develop, and implement functionality testing for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and the service of mobile applications;

2. Design test plans for new features and regression test cases;

3. Work on project management, risk management, and process management tasks;

4. Help implement test tools and collaborate with automation/performance test teams to build up internal tools/frameworks/platforms to make the team more productive;

5. Track defects manage bugs during the whole software development cycle

Qualifications

1. BS degree in a relevant field: Computer Engineering or EE;

2. The experience of testing, within mobile application and/or backend service application;

3. Have distributed application and iOS/Android fundamental knowledge;

4. Familiar with Java/Python/Objective-C/Golang, experience in related projects development;

5. Familiar with performance testing tools, iOS/Android automation, and/or test platform development;

6. Familiar with Redis, NSQ, Zero-MQ, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Hive, Spark.
