• Work under the direction of Control Systems Specialist (CSS) / Construction Manager, and closely coordinate with Resident Engineering team members, including RE / RTO for CSA and M&E disciplines.
• Review and understand scope, BIM, specifications and drawings for all civil and structural works.
• Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems and tools for the supervision of TWRP.
• Work with the BIM model for the ICA works.
• Working closely with the Lead RE / RE ICA, comply with the forms and procedures for ICA function.

• Provide support in cost estimation for variation works, and participating in change management processes
• Ensure consistency of inspections and quality control and assurance tasks across all contracts under the facility through various means including: audit and discussions with fellow REs, RTOs and CM; sharing of lessons learned among the REs / RTOs; review of selected contractor method statements, inspection and test plans, inspection forms and other documents
• Enforce specifications and codes of practice.
• Stay up to date with the ICA works progress and upcoming works through various means such as review of contractor works notices, WhatsApp group(s) and communications with the Resident Engineers.
• Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with local authorities’ and project requirements.
• Keep RE / Lead RE / Engineering Manager informed of all significant quality issues and concerns.
• Maintain a register of all construction quality issues for ICA. Monitor these to verify issues rectified and/or closed out.
• Ensure the adequacy of engineering, inspection, and testing functions for all contracts.
• Monitor special inspection and testing requirements for ICA and ensure coordination of these efforts across all contracts.
• Ensure the contractors’ documentation of their works meet the required project standards.
• Keep and maintain updated site record to ensure records are up to date and in good order.
• Attendance in meetings and discussions with Client and contractors on ICA quality matters.
• Monitor the works of the Contractors for works designed and supervised by the Contractors including receipt and review of required forms from the contractors.
• Keep abreast of Contractors’ progress and performance and provide recommendation for improvements when a gap is identified.
• Carry out keeping and maintenance of site records and carry out periodical checks of site records to ensure records are up to date and in good order.
• Keep abreast of monthly Work Progress Reports
• When requested, provide an independent assessment of the certification of the value of work completed and recommendation of progress payments to be made to Contractor

Assistant Project Engineer (BMS)

Job description

• Must have relevant experience in Building Management System (BMS).
• Have strong knowledge in designing a system for BMS system.
• Able to manage project cycle independently with minimum supervision.
• Work with external parties and customers to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with assigned projects.
• Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress in the field; and update the schedule regularly.
• Responsible for site activities, coordination and supervision works related to engineering and systems design.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects particularly the T/C schedules.
• Responsible for project management including attending meetings, coordination, design and plan out shop drawing and submission of documentation and supervision.
• Liaise with consultants, architects and contractors and handle all technical matters.
• Ensure project works compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices.
• Attending site meeting and coordination with stakeholders, external parties and customers to plan, organize and other related activities for the assigned projects.
• As and when to take on new assignments.

Key Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Have full understanding of Instrumentation HVAC/ACMV control like AHU, Chillers, RCU etc.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Siemens PLC)
• Experience in SCADA software and strong knowledge of Industrial Control and Building Management System.
• Prefer relevant working experience; prefer with LTA ECS/LCS, TVS project experience.
• Prefer with IEC 61508 and LTA documentation submission.

Remuneration:

• $2,800.00 - $4,500.00 per month

1. Support engineering team with following key responsibilities

- Perform functional test of thermal racks and thermal control systems. - Perform functional test of semiconductor test socket assembly and probe pins.

- Maintain test data log and report to product engineer in charge.

- Ensure proper operation and compatibility of final products.

- Support troubleshooting during testing.

- Support field application and repair of returned products.

2. Involved in product design, manufacturing, and servicing.

3. Involved in product assembly and quality control.

4. File and maintain technical documents such as test report and user manual.

5. Complete any other tasks assigned by Engineering Manager and General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating manufacturing processes by supporting research programs, applying knowledge of product design and materials, and collaborating with operators and vendors.
• Help design and develop manufacturing processes for new products and enhancements, including related tooling and fixtures.
• Support process troubleshooting and refinements to improve product throughput and assembly techniques.
• Contribute to improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Participate in process qualifications and validations, including equipment qualifications and material specifications.
• Assist in ensuring product and process quality by supporting the design of testing methods and confirming manufacturing processes.
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information by assisting in calculations of production, labor, and material costs, and reviewing production schedules.
• Help prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Assist in keeping equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer’s instructions and procedures.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives in assigned areas, including accident investigation and corrective actions.
• Research state-of-the-art process technologies and evaluate their potential benefits.
• Participate in Validation Activities as directed.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations.

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a high-volume production environment; experience in medical device manufacturing, particularly catheter production, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company.
• Basic understanding of DOE and statistical techniques.
• Familiarity with process capabilities and control charting is preferred.
• Exposure to writing protocols for validations and qualifications, including FMEA and IQ/OQ documentation.
• Awareness of GMPs, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and Medical Device Directives.
• Self-motivated and eager to drive change and innovation. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design Support: Assist in creating CAD models and technical drawings for mechanical systems within interior spaces.
• Project Collaboration: Coordinate with interior designers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems in layouts.
