Responsibilities:

• Review and study the contract drawing for construction before construct.
• Check and ensure all the construction drawing and materials to meet the required standard.
• Assist Project Manager on all site work, supervision works, schedule and planning for project progress.
• Manage daily work on site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force.
• Discuss with Head of Department for site problems and technical difficulties and resolve on site and coordinate with M&E team for site progress.
• Attend consultant meeting and highlight the discrepancies to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the drawings, specifications and construction procedures and BCA requirements.
• Liaise and conduct sub-cons meeting for daily work.
• Prepare and submit drawings and documents according to the project requirements.
• Inspect all Structural and Architectural work with RE/RTO and kept record the entire document properly.
• Prepare paperwork for ISO and GGBS documentation for BCA audit.
• Filing the document of project paper works and As-built drawings up to date.
• Ensuring compliance to Workplace Safety and Health Acts
• Attend WSH meeting, daily toolbox meeting and Site WSH inspection.

Requirements:

• Diploma in C&S Engineering / Architecture or equivalent
• Preferably with working experience in foundation works
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
• Willing to work overtime including weekends and public holidays when necessary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, maintenance, repair and services operation such as genset synchronizing control system, close transition system, ATS system and genset baseload operation
• Preparation of shop drawings, workings drawings, & as-built drawings
• Attend site meetings with main contractor, consultant and client when required
• Assist the Project Manager in handling and monitoring progress of projects
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management from time to time

• To carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems such as Monorail Train, 22kV, 750Vdc, 415Vac switchgear, HV transformers, Traction Rectifiers and Inverters, system, battery chargers, battery banks, UPS System, Cables & 750V Traction Power contact line system.
• To operate engineering vehicles (Training and qualifications will be provided by the company).
• To switch on and off the traction power.
• To comply with relevant procedures and safety requirements when carrying out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
• To comply with and exercise safety in accordance with safety procedures.
• To ensure compliance with Quality objectives as stated in QP, WIs, SWP, RAs, Task lists & and checklists in daily activities.
• To ensure spares, tools, and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.
• To operate ground support equipment and tools safely in accordance with general handling practices, as assigned by supervisors.
• To drive company vehicles for the purpose of work as assigned by supervisors (For holders of Singapore Driving Licence. Familiarisation and authorisation will be provided by the company).
• To operate company forklift as assigned by supervisors. (Training and qualifications will be provided by the company)
• To adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve the Productivity and Value of work performed.
• To ensure excellent housekeeping is maintained within all work areas.
• To maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.
• To undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of assigned work.
• Required to perform rotating shift work based on the duty roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.

Qualification

Recognized Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in railway maintenance or workshop.
