· Lead the production of the electrical design & wiring diagram.

· Attend meetings at the shipyard and conduct the presentation & explanation of our design drawings and technical documentation.

· Assist our purchasing team in the sourcing of competent manufacturers & competitive suppliers.

· Provide support during commissioning and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with performance requirements and safety standards.

· Produce the technical specifications to be issued to suppliers in accordance with the projects’ requirements; liaise with suppliers or sub-contractors; abide by the technical specifications of the procurement; assist our purchasing team in the negotiation with the selected suppliers & subcontractors.

Requirements:

· Engineering degree (Mechanical/Thermal/Electrical…).

Mechanical background is preferred – Electrical background is a plus.

· Relevant experience in Marine/Offshore Industry is necessary.

Job Description:

• Responsible New Product Introduction (NPI) process reviews drawings and specifications.
• Submit Supplier Problem Sheet (SPS) for issues encounter drawing and specifications.
• Drafting 2D drawing for the entire incomplete drawing.
• Design the internal fixture all the process.
• Able to solve drawing issues with production team internally.
• Review Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Engineering Specs Waiver (ESW) process.
• Generate internal OMS (Operational Method Sheets) and WI (work instruction).
• Able to create PTIS (Part Technical Information Sheet) creation base on the drawings Generate internal.
• Able to read multi levels BOM.
• Create multilevel Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routing for job travellers.

The Responsibilities:

• Assist to ensure all M&E construction activities meets the performance and procedures
• Make recommendations for improvements and correction actions
• Manage contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards and project schedule and cost
• Work closely with draftsmen and all sub-contractors to carry out design, supervision and installation of the entire electrical installation, including testing and commissioning of all systems
• Provide supervision and input to site projects with regards to site logistics, installation, safety, sub-contractors, quality, cost control and on-time reporting
• Assist Project Manager in developing and implementing corporate construction policies
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to ensure timely delivery and low wastage
• Liaise with internal department, government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers to ensure smooth operation of projects
• Assist in timely project progress reporting to Management and attending to all site meetings

The Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with 3 years of working experience
