The Staff Nurse plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents in the nursing home. He/she will manage and perform training planning skills assessments, draft coaching plans and blueprints, whilst ensuring proper delivery of nursing assessments and interventions on the ground. Nurse Educator is required to manage the nurse's training hours and ensure they obtain targeted training hours annually. Nurse Educator is tasked to assist DON in maintaining and managing Approved Training Centres (ATC) within the division.

Working Location: Novena

Working Hours: Shift Work

Job Description:

• Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available for surgical procedures
• Assisting with patient preparation before surgery, including pre-operative assessments and positioning
• Setting up and organizing surgical equipment and instrumentation according to procedural requirements
• Assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies as well as anticipating their needs throughout procedures
• Providing direct patient care during surgery, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients' recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience as a Staff Nurse in an Operating Theatre setting

Clinical Research Nurse (2 year contract)

(Renewable / Convertible)

Working Location: Outram Park

Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Shift Work including Night duties; Most Weekends Off

Job Description:

• Managing clinical trials and clinical research from a diverse therapeutic group such as oncology, infectious diseases, renal and cardiology
• Participate in trial procedures as part of the study team in clinical research
• Assist the investigators in performing clinical trial procedures such as collection of blood samples and other biological specimens at the specific time point, administering investigational products such as drugs or medical devices, and executing precise data recording.
• Perform intensive monitoring of research subjects in early phase clinical trials in compliance with ICH-GCP [International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) - Good Clinical Practice (GCP)]

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board with BCLS Certificate
• 2 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse
• ICH-GCP Knowledge
• Venepuncture and Cannulation Experience
• Clinical research preferred
• Chemotherapy and Cardiology trained ward nurses preferred
• Ability to perform 3-shifts is a must
