Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and compile reconciliations analysis for balance sheet items.
• Prepare reports for management, including variance analysis and budget vs. actuals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and corporate income tax filings.
• Oversee cash flow management and communicate with customers, suppliers, and banks to ensure timely transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and audits.
• Any other ad hoc jobs as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B or food production.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of accounting software like Xero or SAP is a plus.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and meet deadlines. Strong customer service and communication skills.

Contract (6months)

To assist with new SAP system migration and implementation during the FY2024 year-end closing, year-end audit and preparation of annual report

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Group account mapping
• Assist with the data migration of accounting system (data cleansing - checking historical data and reconciliation before upload)
• Assist with UAT and parallel run
• Participate in system enhancements, data entry and checking of data
• Troubleshoot any issues in reports during the data migration
• Streamlining consolidation template e.g. consol pack, management reporting with new SAP reports
• Assist to prepare monthly closing deliverables and updating of reports
• Assist to prepare Group Consolidation financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards
• Assist with Annual report checking and proof reading on financial statements
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of related working experiences handling group consolidation and with auditing experience
• Experience in group consolidation for Listed companies/ MNCs and hands-on experience in using Consolidation and Business reporting tools such as SAP is highly preferred
• Experience in BI tools and able to streamline and automate related work process is high preferred
• Proficient in MS-Office application especially for Excel (Advanced) and knowledge in Power Query and PowerPoint skills.
• Meticulous with numbers, have analytical skills and able to work within tight datelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess good attitude and able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member

Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entry reconciliations.

Maintaining the general ledger system and preparing monthly financial statements submitted with regulatory reports to management.
