Responsibilities

• Process payments for the Group of Companies

• Prepare, compute and submit quarterly GST return for the Group of Companies

• Ensure timely closing of accounts

• Establish and Monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

• Financial audit preparation and coordination the audit process

• Liaising with overseas offices, company secretary, external and internal auditors and other departments

• To attend to other business functions queries and request in providing data and explanation needed

• Compile and analyses financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts for the Group of Companies

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as required for the Group of Companies

• Manage ad-hoc accounting functions and assignments when required

Qualification

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related discipline and be a qualified Accountant

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent

Experience

• Min 3-5 year of relevant experience in finance and accounting especially in a MNC companies

• Sound knowledge in Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory reporting requirement

• Hands-on experience in preparing multi entity full set accounts and in compliance with accounting standards

• Good Excel Skills, experience with SAP and ACCPAC will be an added advantage.

• Good oral and written communication skills especially in English and Chinese

• Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities

· Managing all aspects of financials of a restaurant industry

· Ongoing daily book-keeping

· Invoices, Payroll, Profit/Loss statements

· Prepare GST, Returns, etc.,

· Tax Planning

· Liaison with clients

· Ability to effectively negotiate prices with purchasers/support services.

· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Facilitating Payroll / Scheduling employees

· Issuing invoices to customers and tracking accounts receivable

· Maintaining financial records and preparing documents for annual statements

· Tracking accounts payable and paying suppliers

· Daily, monthly, weekly financial reports, etc.

· Develop strategies for costs savings initiatives and continued business financial success.

· Performs other duties as assigned. Such as providing and explaining financial reports as required to management in a timely manner every week & month.

· Any other relevant duties pertaining to this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Diploma/Degree in Business or Accounting

· At least 3 years of progressive working experience in a (F&B, Retail, Wholesale, Consumer goods,) group with proven management accounting expertise.

· Demonstrable knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.

· Sharp analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Have a strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion.

· Highly organised and meticulous and able to follow through on tasks from start to completion.
