The Aladdin Wealth team within BRS is bringing the same risk capabilities used by BlackRock's investment teams and sophisticated institutional clients worldwide to the wealth management industry and retail investors, equipping clients with model construction capabilities, risk monitoring tools, and portfolio construction & analytics. Aladdin Wealth partners with clients to help them lead their enterprise risk, building better portfolios, improving their value proposition, and institutionalizing their investment process.
Position Description:
The candidate will join the Client Delivery & Execution team based in Singapore. He/She/They will be an integral part of the team and take responsibility for building our business and servicing our clients across a range of activities including client implementations, business development support, and live client servicing.
Responsibilities:
The hired candidate will have one or more for the following responsibilities upon joining Aladdin Wealth Tech:
· Team Management: provide leadership for a growing Singapore local Client Delivery team
· Implementations: Manage technical implementations for Singapore Aladdin Wealth clients. This includes project management (PMO) function, target operating model design, technical delivery, and client stakeholder management.
· Technical Servicing: In partnership with local Relationship Management teams, manage technical client servicing across live clients in Singapore. This includes the scoping and execution of client specific change requests, the on-going oversight of client production cycles, and the management and delivery of all technical upgrades and releases of the Aladdin Wealth product offering for clients.
· Analytics Function: Develop a deep understanding of BlackRock’s proprietary risk models and serve as a subject matter expert on risk analytics for products such as funds, equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives.
Skills/ Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess some combination of all the following:
· 7-10 years of broad technical, quantitative, and financial services experience.
· Strong people management and leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high performing talent.
· Strong project management and coordination skills with experience navigating complex global organizations.
· Strong problem-solving skills with a strong grasp of quantitative/analytical financial concepts.
· Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.
· Strong technical skills and an aptitude for learning new technical systems.
