We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to stakeholders, mainly internal users like employees and management, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
· Serve as the first level of escalation for all IT-related inquiries.
· Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
· Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and related equipment.
· Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
· Set up new user accounts and profiles, ensuring security and access protocols are followed.
· Perform backup and reset for user accounts and equipment.
· Conduct regular system updates and backups to safeguard data integrity.
· Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and IT procurement.
· Document technical issues and solutions, maintaining an updated knowledge base.
· Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 5 years and more experience in a similar IT support role.
· Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
· Familiarity with network configurations, including basic LAN/WAN, routers, and firewalls.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
