As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will report directly to the Design Manager and play a critical role in managing and executing BIM processes for ACMV/HVAC systems. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing accurate 3D models, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and collaborating across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration and coordination of the models. Your expertise will also be pivotal in quality control, design processes, and continuous improvement of BIM standards within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modelling and Management

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for ACMV/HVAC systems in construction projects, including components such as air handling units, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment.
• Update models to incorporate design changes and engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other BIM engineers from various disciplines (structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing) to integrate all models and ensure compatibility.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM environment to minimize construction issues.
• Establish and maintain project-specific BIM standards, methods, and procedures, adhering to company protocols and local Singapore BIM guidelines.
• Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models for project documentation and construction purposes.

2. Design

• Participate in the conceptualization and detailed design of ACMV/HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and best practices, including the Singapore Code of Practice (CP13), SS553, and the Fire Code.
• Prepare design documents, including system layouts, schematics, and specifications.
• While thermal load calculations and energy modeling are not yet implemented, you will be responsible for using design software and tools to perform these tasks as needed in future projects. System sizing will be carried out as part of the current design process.
• Review and approve shop drawing submittals.

3. Coordination and Communication

• Participate in design meetings, coordination workshops, and BIM coordination meetings.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the project design and execution plan are clearly understood.
• Present BIM models to project teams, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate understanding and gather feedback.

4. Quality Assurance and Control

• Ensure quality control of BIM models and design documentation, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Validate model-based project deliverables for compliance with project standards and ensure the accuracy of all information.

• To attend / Conduct daily tool box briefing, weekly briefing & to participate PSCC meeting.

Overview:

• To follow and understand works as per approved procedures, project specification and drawings for structural components for shop fabrication as per construction sequence and schedule.
• To ensure compliance to HSE regulations and requirement.
• To Supervise the relevant sub-contractors to ensure the major output within the stipulated schedule without scarifying the HSE & Quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• To prepare constructability slide and co-ordinate with other discipline about construction sequence
• To conduct the daily tool box briefing with subcontractors to comply the project requirements.
• To coordinate the subcontractor's supervisor regarding daily man power allocation and schedule the activities
• To ensure all the workers follow our HSE policies and requirement.
• To attend the PSCC meeting and coordinate incompatible activities without any HSE issues and apply necessary Permits (PTW) and ensure the PTW is approved before commencement of works.
• To check all the activities to be done with proper Risk assessment and method statement and briefed all the workers involved in the job. To raise the NSI request forms for Project and temporary materials whichever not captured by EDD.
• To raise theo El 2 to EDD if required for any technical issues at site activities. To co-ordinate with EDD engineers/Clients for the shop /site related construction activities.
• To participate weekly PMT Meeting & sub-contractor meeting to meet the weekly and monthly progress as per planned schedule.
• To monitor the sub-contractor QC's checks and NDT checks shall happen as per project specification.
• To conduct internal audit and ensure the subcontractes documents are latest.
• To send the progress status to Project engineer weekly or send to planning department for the Progress.
• To ensure all shop fabricated items shall be followed by release note system.
• To ensure the display board with relevant & latest WPS at all time in the Shop or Erection sites.
• To ensure electrode store equipment's that all are calibrated/ monitor and supervise of the electrode store man / monitor and keep a record of daily consumables of electrodes / FCAW wires / SAW wires / Gouging carbons & sufficient available stock.
• To monitor gas consumption and notify to stores department to raise Nsl as and when required.
• To attend Tool box meeting in time particularly in the weekend and nightshift and hand over the activities with return forms
• To Monitor the day hift and night shift Progress and allocate the jobs under his subordinates.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Identify and quantify key module deficiencies and technology gaps. Lead cross-functional teams to address these issues. Improve current process flows and develop innovative solutions to meet product requirements and manufacturability.
• Develop or redefine CSPEC criteria for optimal product performance and drive activities to ensure manufacturing process capability.
• Coordinate activities at the manufacturing site to secure funding for experiments, and conversions, and effectively communicate decisions to relevant R&D, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing partners.
• Undertake development projects to evaluate and implement new integration schemes for alpha and derivative part types. Establish proof of concept for future tech nodes at the manufacturing facility.
• Take on a leadership role at quarterly yield summits and monthly program reviews to summarize complex problems, explain actions taken to address them, and align R&D, Manufacturing, and senior management teams.
• Assist in the transfer of new technology from R&D to manufacturing. Contribute to ensuring a successful ramp-up and qualification. Support the transfer, documentation, and training of module fundamentals into manufacturing.

• Proficiency in scripting/programming/engineering/business intelligence/Analytics software, such as Python, SolidWorks, Tableau, Power BI, etc. is desirable.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of Process Integration and Yield Enhancement preferred.
• Ability to develop a strong holistic end-to-end understanding of particular PI modules on new NAND technologies and related structural & electrical fail mechanisms.
• In-depth knowledge and direct experience with non-volatile memories (NAND) along with good understanding of the NAND process flow, the interaction of process & device, common yield & reliability issues are desirable.
• Exposure to R&D and transfer/manufacturing is desirable.
