What the role is

The Infrastructure Planning & Design Department1(IPDD1) under the Waste Infrastructure & Engineering Division (WIED) plans and carries out the engineering design and development of infrastructures for collection of general waste and disposal of waste treatment residues, and redevelopment of closed landfills. You will be part of the landfill development branch (LDB) in charge of implementing infrastructural development for landfill related facilities. What you will be working on

The Engineer/ Executive Engineer/ Senior Engineer will be part of the project team to lead a team of engineering executives and specialists to ensure safe and optimal development of development projects. The key responsibilities in this post include conducting engineering feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, planning, design/financial review and formulate programme/action plans. He/she will be responsible to call tenders and administer contracts that are undertaken by the team. For projects with construction phases, he/she will have to supervise and lead a team of engineers to ensure a timely implementation of the development.
