• Build out data infrastructure and data pipelines in a secure and privacy compliant manner.
• Work with feature teams to provide reliable data and infrastructure.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).

Preferred qualifications

• Dynamic Prioritization: Effectively manage and prioritize multiple competing issues in a dynamic environment with a self-organizing approach.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 + years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent skills for working across functional teams, particularly with stakeholders in a banking context.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to resolve issues independently and provide guidance to others in high-stakes environments.
• Environment Maintenance: Familiarity with OS and database patching and maintenance tasks in compliance with banking security protocols.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and analysis, particularly with financial databases.
  • Advanced Java 8+ skills, including multi-threading, microservices (Spring Boot), and RESTful API development for banking applications.
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow and Lumen.
