Position Overview

Assist in managing Infrastructure and IT Security related, for Regional Office (South Asia Ocean Region).

Responsibilities

• Support tRhe Regional Cloud Infrastructure hosting all the Critical Regional Business Solutions.
• Support Cloud Consolidation and Integration to Common Cloud for the Region.
• Plan, Design and Setup adequate Infrastructure for Operation Companies (OPCOs) to connect to Global and Regional Solutions.
• Support various Regional IT Infra projects, with primarily focus on Infrastructure, Elimination of Legacy hosted Infra.
• Support SD-WAN and other Infra Initiatives for the Region.
• Work closely with Global / Regional / Country IT teams to implement & Support Global IT Security Initiatives
• Manage other duties as assigned for Automation of Patch Management (Using Manage Engine), for GSOC, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Zscaler, Rapid 7 (Vulnerability Management), Trend Micro EDR and Others.
• Supporting initiatives advised by Global Security Audit (GSA) teams, resulting in overall improvement of IT Security Posture for the region.
• Assist in Documentation of IT Section Policies.
• Regular PDCA and follow up with Countries, to ensure Adherence for the above Initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years In-Depth experience in Handling IT Infrastructure & IT Security at a Regional Level.
• Business driven with a Strong understanding of Prevalent / Current IT infrastructure and IT Security Solutions.
• Infrastructure Management and IT Security Skills.
• Cloud Solution Skills with a Must have experience to handle a regional Cloud Setup using AZURE.
• Understanding of relevant technology requirements required to handle the Responsibilities mentioned above.
• Strong Project Management Skills.
• Proven strength in strategic and conceptual thinking and design, implementation, and execution of strategies.

Customer Management:

Customer Service Oversight:

Supervise and mentor customer service teams to ensure prompt, courteous, and effective resolution of customer inquiries and complaints.

Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance Metrics:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer service activities.

Analyze customer feedback and service data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

Logistics Systems Management:

Logistics Operations:

Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.

Ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics processes that meet customer demands and delivery schedules.

System Implementation and Management:

Implement and maintain logistics management systems (LMS) and other relevant technology solutions.

Integrate logistics systems with other business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Supply Chain Coordination:

Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to optimize the supply chain.

Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions for the company.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

Conduct regular audits and assessments of logistics operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including metrics on cost, efficiency, and delivery times.

Use data analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize routing and transportation schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all activities and communications regarding outgoing and incoming shipments for all projects to ensure accuracy, timely preparation of necessary documentation.
• Ensure standard procedures, administrative and legal formalities, terms and conditions are followed and completed when third parties are hired for projects.
• Communicate shipment timelines internally to make sure other functions can plan properly and meet the deadlines.
• Work with Sales Team to assist them with freight estimation for quotation purposes.
• Determine and analyze budget for logistic needed to fulfil the project's requirements.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to obtain necessary approval for budget and satisfy required documentation.
• Maintain high accuracy in all document preparations for logistics.
• Ensure best service and best pricing in logistic activities.
• Ensure equipment are received as scheduled by continual follow-up and communicate with freight forwarders and resolve any issues as and when required.
• Develop strong working relationships and cooperation with other functions and departments.
• Support purchasing strategies (sourcing, negotiation & cost management, quality and delivery terms, documentations) and Manage procurement and rental of any external resources, services, and facilities required to support the projects or operations
• Nurture positive relationship with suppliers and service providers for optimum pricing and support.
• Develop and improve SOPs for Logistics and procurement.
• Assist in implementation of goals and policies for effective improvements in Operations.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in managing logistics operations.
• A qualification in logistics or Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
• Preferably working as a manager specialized in Purchasing / Inventory/ Material/Logistic and Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Ability to lead by example and multi-task with tight timelines.
• Strong team player and self-starter who sees tasks to completion.

• Act as Logistics Performance Manager for the Warehouses in Singapore, Dubai and China
• Drive the performance management governance in our regional Logistics organization in alignment with global operations & performance teams
• Support weekly and monthly performance & business reviews at regional and global level
• Analyze Data, run root cause analysis and lead improvement initiatives with Warehouse teams and all needed stakeholders if KPI`s are not met
• Lead deployment of Lean Standards in the Logistics organization and foster a continuous improvement mindset
• Develop a WL driver model for our shopfloor population to forecast Headcount demand and deploy it at global level
• Lead Logistics Efficiency initiatives to improve productivity and support budget reviews aligned with the company financial process
• Ensure availability of data based on BI tools to enable data driven decision making
• Business Lead for call for tender to select Logistics LSP in case of outsourcing decision of warehouse operations
• Lead LSP performance mgt. governance and ensure compliance contract management in close corporations with Procurement
• Lead global Risk and Opportunity Management covering all Satair global Warehouse sites and feed Satair Operations R&O Register

Job Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a supply chain and logistics environment
• Working knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
• Good knowledge of IT system, process governance and data analytics
• Industrial and Lean understanding with strong business acumen
