Responsibilities:
Space Planning and Design:
- Collaborate with the design team to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing interior layouts for our offices and retail boutiques.
- Assist in developing 2D and 3D design concepts that align with the company's brand and vision.
Material and Furniture Selection:
- Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of each space.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure selected materials and furniture.
Project Documentation:
- Contribute to the development of design presentations, mood boards, and design documentation for internal and client review.
- Assist in the creation of detailed design specifications and drawings.
Site Visits and Coordination:
- Attend site visits to understand the existing conditions and ensure that the design vision is implemented accurately.
- Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and smooth execution of design plans.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the broader design team to integrate interior design concepts seamlessly with overall project goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a diploma/ degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute creatively to projects.
