Roles & Responsibilities

• Manages and builds an active and efficient book/video program in assigned subject areas by acquiring new projects; accomplishes this through email and phone/video correspondence, attending meetings, traveling for university visits as needed, consulting with book series editors, volume editors, authors, etc.
• Meets annual individual and/or team targets set by editorial management for book/video publishing agreements signed, and for book/video projects transmitted to production

• Corresponds with and monitors external vendor project coordinators to ensure book projects are completed efficiently and according to schedule
• Interacts with Springer staff members from all departments, including editorial, production, marketing, sales, royalties, customer service, and others

The Senior Copy Editor (Bahasa Indonesian language) is responsible for sub/copyediting, proofreading and production editing for our client's marketing communications for the Indonesian market.

Working closely with copywriters, the Senior Copy Editor would be expected to maintain the highest possible standards. • Manage the schedule to ensure development and maintenance are done in a timely manner
• Manage all IT aspects of employees’ onboarding/offboarding
• Work account creation/deactivation (Email, VPN, etc.)
• Prepare IT equipment
• Provide support to other employees and related parties on system operations

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience is required
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, JS and PHP
• Experience with optimization for mobile devices and familiarity with responsive and adaptive methods
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe Photoshop
