Get to Know the Team

The Extended Workforce Operations team at Grab manages the entire life cycle of our extended workforce, which includes contractors, consultants, and service providers across multiple regions. As part of People Operations, the team works with Procurement and Finance teams for seamless operations and compliance.

Get to Know the Role 

We are passionate about applying technology to improve processes. With the ongoing integration of AI, we are looking for an intern to help create an end-to-end solution for managing talent holistically. This role be fully onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will redesign processes within the Extended Workforce team, integrating AI-driven solutions to refine operations and enhance efficiency.
• You will collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and People Operations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• You will support automation projects, including developing AI-powered tools, chatbots, and dashboards to improve workforce management.
• You will conduct market research on best practices in total talent management and help create a guide for future innovations in workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Director of NCPA (Prof Liu Hong) and other research staff at NCPA, as well as the School of Social Sciences

• Coordinate NCPA's research activities within NTU (including the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Programme) and with external partners

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in one of the relevant fields of public administration, public policy, Asian Studies, political science, and international political economy from a reputed university

• At least three years of relevant experience

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members is particularly welcome

• Strong background and demonstrated experience in research, field work, data collection and analysis, and publication

• Demonstrated experience using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies would be preferred
