As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure for the organisation. In the initial phase of your role, you will operate as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the IT Manager in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the office network systems, including Microsoft services (O365), Lotus Notes, leased/ADSL lines, web portals, and other internal systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Administer Active Directory, O365, VMware (Windows), network servers, and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software applications.
• Implement and maintain robust IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with both company policies and industry standards to safeguard company data and systems.
• Oversee server backup processes and ensure reliable data recovery mechanisms are in place, minimising downtime in the event of system failures.
• Provide in-house support for software and hardware issues, troubleshooting and resolving desktop and server-related problems to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment, software, incidents, and services, ensuring thorough tracking and inventory management for audit purposes.
• Assist in the safe disposal of obsolete or non-functional equipment, ensuring data security and compliance with company disposal policies.
• Provide training and briefings to staff on the proper use of office systems, software applications, and network processes to promote efficient system usage.
• Manage IT support for the Singapore office, including onboarding and offboarding procedures, and oversee the allocation and maintenance of IT assets and software for staff.
• Provide remote server support to the Batam factory, and travel monthly to provide on-site assistance, resolving technical issues and ensuring continuous operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Min. 2 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment, as an individual contributor supporting IT functions of an organisation
• Strong knowledge of network administration, system management, and security protocols
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; fluency in Chinese and Cantonese a plus for effective interaction with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
• Able to work independently with a proactive attitude
• Positive and proactive attitude with strong professional qualities
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively across departments
• Dynamic and adept in handling pressure effectively
• Candidates must meet legal requirements to work in Singapore without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Data collation, cleaning, verification, and analysis to facilitate insights of sector (including services and social service providers) and infrastructure planning
• Staffing of engagements with social services providers and divisions
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following updates in backend system (i.e. AIMS)
• Research of overseas planning models

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

• Assist CSM/ASM to manage the branches and provide guidance to branch operations and service network.
• Exceptional time management, communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Responsible for all AML/CFT, risk management, compliance and audit matters as a Customer Service Executive (“CSE”) targeting a Good/Satisfactory rating.
• Ensure Branch operations quality, customers’ satisfaction and service excellence at all touchpoints.
• Ensure Key Performance Indication (“KPI”) & Key service index set by the bank are met (eg 90% of customer served with 5-10mins).

Business Performance and Management

• Perform daily banking transactions at the branch, including teller duties accurately and efficiently. Manage the cash activities at the branch.
• Attend to all customer enquiries on banking products and service promptly.
• Be customer obsessed and deliver excellent customer banking experience.
• Handles clerical and administrative duties.
• Adhere to regulations, Internal Policies and Procedures, Customer Service User Guides and SOP of the Bank.
• Keeping a clean desk policy and professional appearance.
• Be professional in engaging customers and always be courteous (i.e. Greet, Service/Smile & Thank you!).
• Handle currency, transactions and confidential information in a responsible manner. Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancy.
• Inform customers about bank products and services.
• To undertake any other duties which may be assigned by the Head of Department & supervisors from time to time.
• Perform the needed security checks e.g. keeping a look out for counterfeit, validate customers’ identities/signatures. If staff has detected any fraud, to follow the Bank’s protocol.
• Complete required daily tasks e.g. checking of advices/vouchers and balancing cash position.

People Management

• Monitors branch service, provide coaching and supervision to Officers to achieve standards set by the bank. Maintain department discipline and morale so that the department staff functions as a team.
• Ensure staff are dressed professionally and branch premise is well kept and clean.
• To attend relevant courses for upskilling.

Compliance

• Comply with regulatory requirements, internal P & P, CSUGs & SOP.
• Adhere to Governance, Risk Management and Compliance standards to achieve operational excellence.
