Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
· Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
· Review and verify expenses.
· Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections, and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.
· Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
· Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
· Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.
· Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
· Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.
· Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.
· Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) a plus
· 3-6 years of relevant experience
· Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel
· Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
· Conscientious and meticulous
· Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
· Knowledge in Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage
