Job Description:

As a Steersman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe navigation and maneuvering of vessels within waterways and ports. Job functions, duties and responsibilities

You shall undertake to perform the duty as per following description.

· Work closely with JP's duty officer / control rooms and to execute & delivery the scope of work of berthing/unberthing/shifting/hauling/swinging of vessels and miscellaneous services.

· Lead a team which comprises of 6 to 8 mooring crew and a driver to carry out the mooring, unmooring of vessels & other tasks in accordance with the wharf plan / ROV during your shift.

· You are reporting to KAH (Key Account Holder) to ensure a safe and efficient operations. Your main tasks include the following and other services required.

· Conduct daily tool box briefing on wharf operations as per ROV / Record of Vessels and safety & PPE requirements prior to despatch his team to particular wharf.

Main Purpose of the Job

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

· Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.

· Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

· Experience with working on Large Language Models and Generative AI technology is a plus.

Technical skills:

1) Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.

3) Solid understanding of Statistical Analysis, Probability Theory, and Hypothesis Testing.
