Job Responsibilities

The role is responsible to design and promote financial engineering and expertise solutions in the areas of asset/wealth management, hedging solutions for corporates, interbank trade solutions. The successful incumbent will support the Sales networks in all markets, by analysing the needs and proposing customized solutions for our clients.

• Make prices for FX, Rates and Credit-linked structured products
• Assist the execution of deals with traders and sales
• Automate pricing, booking and Termsheet generations with Python
• Create presentation materials of FX, Rate and Credit-linked structured products for the entire Asia Pacific region
• Conduct backtesting of investment products or hedging strategies with statistical methods
• Liaise with Sales for feedback to improve the solutions for clients

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Marketing or related disciplines
• Good VBA Programming and Python skills
• Good Powerpoint / presentation skills
• Fluency in French and English is essential to liaise with Head Office counterparts, and knowledge of Mandarin is a bonus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, abilities to work efficiently as a team player

Role Purpose:

Responsible for timely and accurate processing onboarding and account maintenance for the CMC CFD and Invest businesses. Ensuring that every account is compliant with CMC’s Onboarding and AML/KYC policies and procedures.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Has ownership for the new client account opening process ensure all aspects are completed and correct.
• Has ownership for ensuring all account documentation meets regulatory requirements. This includes KYC, AML and appropriateness and sanctions checks.
• Ensure all new client details are accurately updated in all relevant systems (back office, online trading platform).
• Share relevant information regarding new client accounts with premium client managers in a timely manner.
• Effectively deal with internal queries relating to all aspects of customer onboarding & maintenance with a focus on getting it right first time every time.

Role Summary:

This role will consist of physical trading and paper trading both within SEA market areas as well as globally (for petrochem, agri, and ferrous-metal dept). The ideal candidate is a clear communicator and self-starter who demonstrates great ability to work both independently and within a team setting, especially while attempting to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and organize information related to assigned commodities and establish a comprehensive database.
• Conduct research, analysis, and prepare regular reports on assigned commodities.
• Develop and expand upstream and downstream resources, while establishing reliable procurement and sales channels.
• Devise commodity futures and financial derivatives hedging strategies and oversee position management.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• Strong logical thinking, language and writing abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated practicality, diligence, and self-motivation.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to facilitate communication with stakeholders in China.
• Fresh graduates from top-tier institutions are encouraged to apply, 0-2 years of working experience preferred.
