Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop electrical designs and specifications for civil construction projects, including infrastructure such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and buildings.
- Participate in the installation and integration of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communications, and control systems, ensuring adherence to design plans and safety regulations.
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure, identify potential challenges, and propose solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing electrical drawings, coordinating with subcontractors, and troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise on-site.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing electrical installations, and work closely with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and startup activities for electrical systems, verifying functionality and performance to meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, installations, and testing activities, and prepare progress reports for internal stakeholders and project management teams.
- Work collaboratively with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the Civil / Marine Constructions
- Proficiency in electrical design software and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to start work immediately / within short notice
