Division Summary

Our long-standing experience in precious and base metals positions us well to provide price risk management solutions across the precious metals spectrum, including gold, silver, platinum, palladium and minor PGMs and across the base metals spectrum, including aluminium, copper, lead, nickel, tin, zinc and cobalt.

Consumers, producers and traders in precious and base metals need to manage commodity-specific price risks and inventory exposures due to volatile resource markets and fluctuating exchange rates. Financial institutions need access to metal liquidity and may require physical bullion and clearing services. We offer our clients a range of financing, trading and risk management solutions.

Job Purpose

· Execute the Bank’s precious and base metals global strategies, with a focus on the Asia market.

· Support the desk through execution efforts across our flow trading, physical and financing businesses in metals, within the Bank’s risk and regulatory framework.

· Conduct role within remit of MAS Representative Licensing Framework.

Key Responsibilities

Metals Sales

· Execute and support the desk in precious and base metals products

· Market research and identify opportunities

· Provide client portfolio & market analysis for business strategy planning

· Preparation / drafting of management reports

Customer Relations

· Provide administrative customer support to improve client experiences

· Monitor client activities and report any financial crimes and suspicious transactions

· Trouble shooting and manage client complaints / dissatisfactions

Trade executions

· Conduct pre-deal check for good-to-trade status,

· Hedge and deal capture into systems accurately and timely

· Monitor customer positions, settlements, and credit limit utilisations

· Support physical precious metals trading and inventory management in Asia

· Maintain averaging deal database

· End-of-day reporting and checking

· Comply with all the regulatory rules, policies and procedures

· Escalate any issues to senior officers and Head of Metals, Asia

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

· Understanding of the MAS, PRA/FCA rules & regulations or equivalent is an added advantage

· Proficiency in MS Excel / PowerPoint / Word, risk management systems

· Meticulous and able to multi-task under pressure

· English language skills are essential. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, showroom owners, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, and cold calling to open new accounts.
• Promote and introduce products to existing and new accounts to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Showcase marketing tools such as standees, anti-bacterial decals, binders, and wire racks for display in showroom interiors.
• Conduct effective product presentations to stakeholders and potential clients to showcase our products' advantages and salient features.
• Manage the collection of payments from clients in a timely manner.
• Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade organizations, and key influencers to enhance brand visibility and market reach.
• Work with internal teams, including marketing, accounts, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales management and project deliveries.
• Gather and relay market insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records by entering visit details, sample information, and client data into Salesforce CRM.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role in the building materials and/or surfacing products.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
• Working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Executive is responsible for regulating, controlling, and ensuring compliance within the health, safety, security environmental regulations, and

quality control and on-site. HSEQ Executive is also the Quality Management Systems (QMS) Document Controller, responsible for providing site-level support for the control of documentation through system administration and maintenance, procedural creation, and consultation services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise the management and Safety committee members on the statutory requirements and
• countermeasures to be taken relating to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ).
• Develop, review, revise and implement Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality System.
• Conduct monthly inspections for all sites to ensure compliance to Safety and related guidelines.
• Organize training as required for all personnel relating to HSEQ matters.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports on the HSEQ status to management for review and necessary
• actions.
• Able to drive HSEQ culture within the company.
• All accreditations relating to HSEQ.
• To review, administer & keep up to date in house related policies and procedures to related
• guidelines.
• Provide Site-level Document Control Support and Technical Expertise.
• Define, create, and maintain controlled documents and document control procedures.
• Maintain user document access rights.
• Provide documentation systems and process training.
• Provide archived documentation upon request.
• Maintain and keep up to date for all necessary records.
• Responsive to address and advise to HSEQ matters.
• Perform Accident or Incident Investigations.
• Suggest for corrections and follow-up to correct any incompliance.
• Maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements,
• applicable international standard/regulation requirements, and customer requirements.
• Identify the gaps in the QMS and make continuous improvements to ensure the effectiveness of QMS implementation and consistency with product and process requirements.
• Lead the training on procedures and practices to QMS requirements.
• Lead the internal audit and customer audit, follow-up on audit non-conformance activities till closure.
• Any tasks as assigned as needed by the company on or related to HSEQ matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min. Diploma in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Registered WSH Officer or FSM is preferred.
• Experience in International Standards and auditing.
• Good communication skills.
• Meticulous and eyes for details.
• Forming of safety committee and conduct monthly meetings.
• Carrying out HSE and quality audits.
• Working effectively with other stakeholders.
