Main responsibilities:

This role involves certain level of technical exposure with day-to-day ship management, P&I clubs and Classification Society interactions.

• Charter Party execution
• Effective communication and instruction with various stakeholders and counterparties along the CP chain on a daily timely basis, including master, agent, bunker supplier, charterers, technical managers, Class and P&I club etc.
• Optimise voyage operation and performance.
• Post-fixture tasks, including hire & freight invoices, laytime calculation and settlement, final hire reconciliation and settlement etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where

Requirements

· Able to handle book-keeping (accounts) properly such as handling multiple clients/high volume transaction company;

· Proactive and committed to meet deadline;

· Pleasant personality and organised.

· Preferred Accounting / Auditing firm background

· At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.

· Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

You help find best ways to craft and tell stories along with the studio’s development team and can take a video from pitch to publish. We’ll trust you to:

• Drive production execution on premium video content including explainer-style segments and short documentaries (conceptualization, storyboarding, outlining, production, edit & delivery) working with a variety of source footage and motion graphics
• Work in a fast-paced studio environment while juggling multiple active projects at once
• Build shot sheets, coordinate field production and receive the footage from shoots
• Gain an understanding of newsroom initiatives and use knowledge of those campaigns to bring fresh and unique story ideas to the table for short documentary and series development
• Run creative production meetings for greenlit pitches, series and campaigns alongside team leader
• Review publish copy attached to videos from web headlines/descriptions to social language.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in a news organization, digital publisher, or production company
• Proficient in video editing tools including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, Final Cut
• Experience in producing for digital video and short documentaries
• A refined sense of visual news and documentary storytelling and an ability to give fresh angles on them
