• To monitor and report on the operational IT problems and carry out tests on software implementation, update software patches and installs anti-virus and end point protection to protect the systems;
• To source and co-ordinate with IT vendors/suppliers and PPHG corporate office on the hotel’s IT purchases;
• To train end-users on the correct usage of IT systems and provide first line user support services before referring to vendor support, if required;

Job responsibilities

• Handling and processing of Vessel Requisitions for Stores, Provisions, Spare Parts, Lubricants, Chemicals & Gases for obtaining quotations from approved suppliers, evaluating and comparing offers for further submittal to responsible Superintendents for approval, liaising with suppliers to process approved orders, controlling received quantities and purchase invoices in accordance with the company's procedures and purchasing software.

• Assist relevant Superintendent(s) with handling of potential claims.
• Procurement, sourcing and purchase of vessels’ spare parts, supplies and services including preparation of relevant purchase orders and job orders to ensure proper supply for vessels.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order for Superintendents to review and determine the best offer among potential suppliers.
• Verify suppliers’ invoices against quotations and keeping track of vessels’ total expenditure against approved budgets. Verifies item received with items ordered; liaise and resolve with suppliers for mismatch item
• Monitor vessels’ movements, liaising with suppliers, masters and agents to ensure that supplies are delivered on board timely.
• Responsible for accurate record keeping, follow-up and filing of all stores and spares purchased for vessels.
• Actively follow up on vessels’ defect reports, arrangement of third party service vendors and docking issues etc.
• Coordinate closely with Technical Superintendent and shipboard officers.
• Co-ordinate with vessels on various technical matters as instructed by the Superintendents.
• Maintain and update vessels’ technical certificates and arrangement of renewals whenever required.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Technical Superintendents and or Technical Manager.

Job Requirements:
