About the Role

THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE

The Centre Management System Support, Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, procurement & maintenance of all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities and essential services for daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance Planning: Planning and implementation of building maintenance programs for architectural, electrical, and mechanical, exhibits and attractions AV lighting systems. Co-ordinate and liaise with internal and external vendors for the execution of maintenance services. Conduct joint inspection rounds with Specialists/Technical Officers on building/Exhibit/AV & lighting defects.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety equipment, work methods, and procedures. Promptly rectify any unsafe situations, adhering to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations. Be responsible for implementing Company’s SOP and policies including compliance to QEHS policies. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive/Business Development Executive with a strong background in the IT Services & Consulting industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in acquiring new clients, a deep understanding of professional services, ability to drive business growth and expertise in the APAC market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new clients in the IT Services & Consulting space.
• Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Sales Strategy: Design and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Market Analysis: Research industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Professional Services Expertise: Demonstrate a clear understanding of professional services, including staffing, project-based solutions, and managed services.
• Presentations and Proposals: Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including delivery and technical teams, to ensure successful project implementation.
• Sales Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics and progress against targets.

• Proven experience in sales or business development within the IT Services & Consulting industry
• Proven ability to acquire new clients and achieve sales targets in the APAC region.
• Strong understanding of professional services, including IT staffing and consulting solutions.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting software.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage all transportation processes including incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and arrange of import, export and LCL shipment documentations and custom clearance.
• Update and maintain warehouse inventories to ensure accurate inventory management of Goods in the warehouse.
• Work closely with Warehouse to ensure all services rendered to customer are captured for billing on time and accurately.
• Prepare and maintain accurate invoices to customers with an agreed billing agreement.
• Assist operation and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” level or equivalent
• Prior experience in customer service or a related role is preferred
• Display empathy and patience when dealing with customers
• Good telephone etiquette and communication skills
• Positive attitude, multi-tasker and a team-oriented mindset working with minimal supervision is essential
