Job Description
•To compile and submit budgets and forecasts for the Asia Pacific business in cooperation with the relevant departments. Also, to compile and submit monthly performance results.
•In addition to analyzing of sales and costs, to analyze capital efficiency, such as ROIC. This means including appropriate levels of inventory and fixed assets. To identify the causes of variances and problems. To report the results to the supervisor and management. It also encourages the parties concerned to make improvements.
•Periodic reporting to the head office in Japan.
•The companies to manage include not only the Singapore company but also subsidiaries in Southeast Asia managed by the holding company (Singapore).
•To compute and derive the value of investment using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
•To perform cash flow planning.
•To manage and train the subordinates.
•To respond to external inquiries (e.g., auditors, banks, etc.)
•Knowledge of SOX will be an added value.
•To manage transfer pricing arrangements.
•This position plays an important role in the finance department. In addition to cross functional operations excellence, he or she is also required to champion process improvement initiatives.
•To lead, motivate and develop the finance team.
•To perform any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in management accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Require communicating with our Japan HQ. Knowledge of Japanese language (written and spoken) is essential.
