Responsibility:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our team of ship chandlers. As the Manager of Ship Chandlers, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, supply, and management of goods and provisions for ships and vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime operations, logistics, and supply chain management, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Job Description:
* Oversee the procurement process for goods and provisions required by ships, including food, beverages, spare parts, equipment, and other supplies.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
* Implement inventory management systems and procedures to monitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
* Ensure that all products and provisions meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications, and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
* Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements for the delivery of goods and provisions to ships and vessels, including scheduling, routing, and documentation.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ship chandlers and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
* Develop and manage budgets for procurement and provisioning activities, including cost estimation, budget allocation, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and maritime laws governing the supply and provisioning of ships and vessels.
* Provide excellent customer service to shipowners, captains, and crew members, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains in procurement and provisioning operations, and implement appropriate measures to drive continuous improvement.
* Able to work rotate shift and weekend and public holiday.

Requirement:
• Must have 3year experience in Manager.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Power point.
• Candidate must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Must have Bilingual communication
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independent and pressure environment
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
