  • As a member of the IPVMC Leadership Team, serve as a trusted & strategic advisor to the Group Country Manager on all risk issues
• Prepare reports, briefings and other written products to update executive management on risk activities, issues and opportunities.
  • Convey risk-related trends and developments to local country manager and leadership team through regular reporting
  • Synthesize marketplace feedback regarding the effectiveness of Visa’s risk management strategy and programs, benchmark Visa’s performance relative to other payment networks and participants
  • Guide Visa’s proactive risk communications and collaboration across all of these stakeholders so as to advance the safety, security and long-term growth of the Visa payment system
• Lead the responsible innovation initiative by assisting Visa and its clients mitigate risks and embrace new technology improvements.

As a key member of the IPVMC Leadership Team, the Head of Risk will advise the Group Country Manager, the IPVMC Leadership Teams and hub & global functional leads on strategies related to complex operational, financial, legal and regulatory risk exposures.

The successful candidate will directly lead a small team of Risk professionals, client-facing Risk Service Managers based in Singapore. Additionally, the Head of Risk will draw upon the resources of the Asia Pacific Risk function across the wider region and in the Asia Pacific hub in Singapore. These resources range from other sub-regional Risk leads, in-market Risk Service Managers, Risk managers, analysts and highly skilled Risk specialists in the areas of compromise management, data security and fraud analytics.

• Minimum 5 years experience in project management (running scrum agile) in software delivery
• Certifications in Agile (e.g. SCM, SAFE) are compulsory, Change Management (e.g. PROSCI) is a plus

As a Scrum Master in the BTT team, you will manage your assigned projects within a project team, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into business solutions. You will partner with the Product Owner to define the product roadmap, act as the functional and subject matter expert for the solution, and serve as the liaison between product, technology, business, and governance teams. Your role includes timely reporting of project progress to key stakeholders, ensuring successful implementation to drive business efficiency and innovation.

Role and Responsibilities:

Project Delivery Management:

• Control and analyze the project delivery process.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks, facilitating problem-solving and ensuring timely resolution of impediments.
• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies to drive effective and consistent outcomes.

Team Coaching and Support:

• Coach and guide Feature Team members on Agile principles, processes, and behaviors.
• Support Feature Team members in collaboration and obstacle anticipation.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions to resolve obstacles and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Progress Tracking and Reporting:

• Support the Feature Team in measuring and consistently tracking progress.
• Prepare and assist with communication to all levels of management, including presentations and documents for project progress reports and relevant meetings (e.g., monthly steering committee, superusers).

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that meet both strategic and operational needs.
• Utilize matrix reporting for project progress tracking and reporting.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management (running Scrum Agile) in software delivery, preferably in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or Technology industries.

Certifications:

• Certifications in Agile (e.g., SCM, SAFE) are compulsory. Change Management certifications (e.g., PROSCI) are a plus.
