- Develop a detailed project plan, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
- Assemble and lead the project team, assigning tasks based on skills and expertise.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, team members, and upper management, ensuring everyone is informed.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as necessary to stay on schedule.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project stability.
- Oversee the project budget, ensuring costs remain within approved limits and justifying any necessary adjustments.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Address issues as they arise, facilitating solutions to keep the project on track.
- Prepare regular status reports for clients, summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure their needs are met.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated.
- Assess the impact of changes on project objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct project closure activities, including final reporting, documentation, and post-project evaluation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and methodologies to enhance project management capabilities.
Requirements
- At least ten (10) years relevant experience in civil construction, rail and bearing replacement projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board
- Continuously on Site and devote himself full-time to the Project
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
