The objective of this project is to advance the field of RNA analysis by developing and implementing innovative analytical tools. These tools will be used in a comprehensive study of all forms of RNA -- the ribonucleome -- and the >170 RNA modifications -- the epitranscriptome -- in disease pathobiology, host-pathogen interactions, biomarker development, and therapeutic target discovery.

Responsibilities

The Research Engineer will plan and conduct experiments with the aim of studying the roles of RNA modifications in human immunue diseases. The candidate will work primarily on cell culture, RNA isolation, and chromatography-coupled mass spectrometry analysis. Reporting to Head of Tax (Asia Pacific), you will be providing senior level support and expert tax advisory to Asia Pacific (APAC) senior management for business support, M&A, tax technical and compliance matters as required.

As the APAC Tax Expert/Manager, you will be collaborating closely with tax and finance teams primarily in APAC and also contribute in other jurisdictions with the Group’s Headquarters tax department. The incumbent is expected to lead discussions and bring issues to resolution.
