• Co-ordinate the technical requirements/needs of the clients and reinsurers and deliver Aon projects to reflect these.

1. The scope of Services for the One (1) Onshore Software Architect shall be as follows:

a) Evaluate current architecture and technology stack for the Authority’s systems, which includes system design and recommend architectural solutions to align with business goals, technical requirements and Government policies;

b) Manage technology refresh and End-of-Service (EOS) product replacements, including planning, product exploration, recommendations and. implementations. The scope of technology management includes developing and maintaining technology roadmaps, as well as overseeing, providing guidance and supporting Authority’s appointed contractors throughout the delivery, setup, testing, and deployment phases;

c) Define technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for software development;

d) Conduct product and technology evaluation, including making recommendations;

e) Review existing architecture documentations to ensure all documentations are kept up to date. If required, to develop and maintain system architecture documentations;

f) Conduct knowledge sharing and training when necessary;

g) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse project and architectural requirements;

h) Monitor system performance and scalability, making recommendations for improvements on a need-be basis; and

i) Architecting and solutioning for new systems, including designing high level system architecture and developing solution and recommending implementation approaches, ensuring alignment with the Authority’s objectives and Enterprise Architect (EA).

2. The Onshore Software Architect proposed by the Contractor shall have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Architect or equivalent position and the following experiences and qualifications:

a) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent would be preferred;

b) Relevant recognition and/or certification of his/her competency as an Architect;

c) Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns;

d) Track record of design and implementing large scale systems;

e) Experience with on-premises, cloud or hybrid architectures;

f) Experience and skills in the following would be advantageous:

i. Setup and implementation or technology refresh for system infrastructure such as server, network, storage, middleware, monitoring tools, etc.;

What you will do

Scope, define and design solution offerings, driving end-to-end technical solutions.

• Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis.
• Work with the core team on a list of potential activities and solutions
• Develop technical presentations and proposals and perform customer presentations.
• Support deployment of the solution
• Provide feedback to R&D
• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing.
• Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build.
• Handle Customers and internal Stakeholders from Technical perspective.
• Prepare the relevant technical document i.e., HLD (High Level Design), LLD (Low Level Design), Network Impact Reports, Method of Procedure etc. with respect to customer activities in Project or production systems.
• Provide technical support to ICT-PD as and when needed.
• Participate and contribute during pre-sales engagement activities, if needed
• Define the service scope for the service delivery.
• Estimate cost and time for the implementation.
• Plan for the order of the activities needed
• Plan verification, test, and migration activities
• Define quality check points.
• Define test and migration strategy, test, and migration environment requirements.

You will bring

• Education Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication, Engineering or equivalent.
• Overall, 20 years of experience out of which at least 10 years as a Senior Solution Architect in Telecommunications and leading large size projects.
• Domain experience: area of expertise – Ericsson 5GC packet core, Cloud, Integration and troubleshooting expertise in the 5G Packet Core/4G packet Core, able to do analysis of traces and complex logs analysis for Packet Core Nodes (4G & 5G).
• 5G Core Product level knowledge- PCC (AMF/SMF), PCG ( UPF ) , SCP/BSF, CCPC ( PCF ) ,CCRC( NRF ) ,CCSM (AUSF/UDM )and CCDM ( UDR ).
• Proven e2e knowledge on the 5G core domain with participation in complex projects in E2E design delivery of 5G Core solution.

• >5 years of FP&A experience, highly driven with strong business acumen
