Meta is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to join its APAC Indirect Tax team, which manages the indirect tax function for APAC region. The position will be based in Singapore and reporting into the indirect tax lead for APAC. This role will collaborate and work closely with local and international direct and indirect tax teams, international and regional accounting and other finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Meta tax team to ensure integration with various business functions, bring awareness to the business and support new business initiatives in the region
• Responsible for indirect tax compliance, work closely with the local finance teams and manage compliance outsource service providers, provide oversight for indirect tax compliance across the region
• Assist with tax audit and controversy matters in the region
• Monitor developments of indirect tax policies in the region, work with internal policy teams and external advisors supporting tax policy initiatives

Essential Responsibilities:
• Attending ships in terminal, anchorage, shipyard for repair, installation, troubleshooting services.
• Report and documentation as per company procedures (E.g. Update of Software, database, etc.).
• Timely completion of technical and service work report
• Conducting fault-finding process and resolve the technical issue onboard as appropriate.
• Providing technical support both onsite and remotely for company product to the customer.
• Providing support to coordinators.
• Ensuring that the work is executed according to Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:
• At least a Diploma in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or related field with at least three years of relevant experience
• Experience in programming, commissioning and service of Marine navigation systems.
• Experience in the hardware and software for the Marine navigation systems
• Excellent product knowledge in SAM Electronics and other navigation System.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description:
- Responsible for the new and on-going monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc investor reporting and ensure timely delivery of the same.
- Prepare quarterly notices e.g. capital account statement, distribution, net asset value and returns calculation and track investors equity position. Respond to regular and ad hoc investor requests.
- Coordinate capital calls, capital returns and redemptions.
- Prepare internal quarterly portfolio summary information, responsible for analyses and produce Fund-level business plans within reporting timelines.
