Business Development Director - a strategic leadership role responsible for driving business growth and expansion initiatives within the construction sector across China and key Asian markets. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic business development plan for the construction sector in China and targeted Asian countries. Align strategies with corporate objectives, market dynamics, and growth opportunities to maximize results.
• Market Expansion: Identify and assess new markets, segments, and growth opportunities within the construction industry across China and key Asian countries. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to inform market entry strategies.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers in China and across Asia. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Opportunity Pursuit: Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities, including project bids, partnerships, and acquisitions, within the construction sector. Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
• Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to the business development team across China and Asian countries. Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through effective pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and conversion strategies. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize results.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, legal, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment of business development activities with company objectives and priorities. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes within the construction sector across China and Asian markets. Leverage market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities, mitigate risks, and shape strategic initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance business development processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to optimize performance and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Service and foster relationships with existing corporate accounts.
• Conduct reviews and customize solutions to meet customers’ financial needs.

Requirements

• A Diploma/Degree, preferably in Business, Banking & Finance, or Engineering
• 2 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, SME, or corporate lending/loans.

Responsible for the preparation of architectural detailed shop-drawings and working drawings (Architectural / structural) using Revit and ensuring that design and detail confirms to project construction.

Assist Project Team by providing timely BIM Coordination and best knowledge with accurate information for construction.

To extract information from 3D Revit and develop the shop-drawings and resolve discrepancies in the drawings with Engineering Department & Project Team.

Develop detailed drawings and specifications according to Client-Consultant's needs / request.

Develop As-built drawing for submission / handover for project completion to client / consultants.

To assist with Tender Bids / Drawings by developing overall floor plans and sectional drawings.

To attend Technical / BIM meeting when required.
