Main purpose of the job  

The primary role of a Global Category Manager – Marketing Communications is to lead and implement procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization. This position heads the Procurement team, fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge. Alongside adhering to established governance, policies, and processes, the role involves protecting the company's assets and reputation through effective internal control systems, procedures, and legal compliance. The role is also responsible for driving sustainable procurement and procurement innovation strategies, as well as creating and implementing category strategies. • Collaborate with delivery: Work with the DevOps, Data Engineering and Application Development delivery teams to bridge the gap between the solution designs ensuring that delivery of the solutions are inline with the requirements of the customers.

ENSURE TIMELY REQUISITION OF INVENTORY AND STOCK CONTROL FOR STATIONERY AND SUPPLIES FOR THE DEPARTMENT 

• Handle requisition, inventory and stock control for stationery and supplies for department  
• Process all purchase requisitions and verify invoices  
• Ensure timely delivery of inventory and stationery 
• Requisite and process order for water cooler  
• Coordinate toner order and servicing of photocopier  
• Assist to request user ID for newcomers and deactivate user ID for staff who resign

Billing Admin

Manage the media billing processes which involves,

• Co-coordinating with media planning teams on billing instructions
• Media plan actualization and reconciliation on monthly basis
• Update spots and remarks on Publicis’s proprietary billing platform based on actualized amount
• Generate proforma invoices for shared service team’s approval
• Resolving billing discrepancies with relevant stakeholders e.g. media vendors, media, finance and shared service teams
• Billing status monitoring and reporting
• Participate in finance WIP billing meetings to make sure Client's invoices get processed and meet billing timelines

Other billing requirements include,

• Support requirements for onboarding of new suppliers
• Ensure 100% billing completion within three months of activity end date
• Resolve/respond to client billing queries

Media Buying (Offline and/or Online)

• The day-to-day media buying for the agency
• Deliver excellent master contract pricing through negotiation and relationships with media owners, wherever applicable
• Develop understanding of client business and role of online in delivering objectives ways of working from planning to getting approval and billing process
• Deliver added value opportunities across clients wherever possible
• Book all campaigns according to the brief (with confirmed media) and ensure financials are correct
• Monitor campaign delivery and reconcile any under deliveries

This role is an individual contributor within the AP CCM team based in Singapore office. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, analytical and a strategic thinker.
